Robert Welch Aston Bright

Aston Bright cutlery is defined by a subtle embellishment on the handle of each piece; a finely drawn continuous line which traces the form of the round-handled shape.

English or Continental thread as a pattern seems to have been a 20th century simplification of the Victorian Fiddle and Thread pattern. Occasionally described as having an art-deco aesthetic, the design has been given the Robert Welch treatment as Aston; smooth and refined shape, highlighted with restrained decoration. It would make the ideal cutlery for a traditional home.
